2025 Kia Carnival vs 2024 Kia Carnival

Serving Highland, IN

The Kia Carnival is an SUV-like minivan that is a practical, comfortable option for Highland-area shoppers to consider. In 2025, the Carnival will introduce improvements to its interior, exterior, and features, taking its appeal to a new level. Our Thomas Kia of Highland associates are thrilled to help you compare the 2024 and 2025 Carnival models.

Performance

The Carnival is a three-row van available in the same four trim levels for the 2024 and 2025 model years. All trims are powered by a V6, 3.5-liter gas engine. The 2025 Carnival generates 287 horsepower, and the 2024 Carnival produces 290 horsepower. The vehicle features an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. For the 2025 model year, Kia is also introducing a Kia Carnival Hybrid model. This hybrid minivan is expected in the fall of 2024, and it will generate 271 lb-ft of torque.

Appearance

Among the most noticeable updates to the 2025 Carnival are modernized lower-body panels and wheels and improved taillamps, headlamps, and a grille. The design has an expansive and slightly angled roof with a sliding side door and definition over the door panels and haunches. The wheels have a geometric pattern with both black and metallic trim. At the front, the short hood rolls into a rounded, tall nose. The traditional Kia bow-tie grille has a modernized shape with a fresh mesh pattern. At the top of the grille, long LED bars shoot to the side before running alongside the tall headlamps. Exterior features offered for 2024 and 2025 versions are dual power sunroofs, roof rails, LED fog lights, power-folding side mirrors, 19-inch wheels, a hands-free liftgate, and more.

Features

The interior shows off a revised center console with a re-positioned climate control interface. The infotainment system has been updated with a larger standard 12.3-inch touchscreen with built-in navigation and a superior voice assistant, and lane centering and adaptive cruise control will be new standard additions in 2025. For both model years the Carnival comes with a Bose sound system, a dual-screen rear entertainment system, leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, a blind-spot camera, a rear muting function for the sound system, a household power outlet, a surround-view camera, a 12.3-inch driver's digital display screen, an interior camera, an intercom system, wireless smartphone charging, wireless device charging, and several other features.
