2024 Kia Sorento vs 2023 Kia Sorento

Serving Highland, IN

The Kia Sorento sits just below the Telluride as one of the brand's largest SUVs, and it has long been a top option for drivers with high expectations for style and features. The 2023 and 2024 Kia Sorento crossovers are three-row vehicles in the fourth generation. While they are mid-generation vehicles, the 2024 Sorento benefits from several brilliant improvements over the 2023 model year. You can rely on our sales associates to give you complete details about the Sorento offers.

Performance

In 2024, the Kia Sorento X-Pro is introduced as a new trim level. This trim level has bolstered capabilities with all-terrain tires and more towing power. Specifically, it can tow up to 4,000 pounds. For 2023 and 2024, the Sorento's entry-level engine is a four-cylinder, 2.5-liter unit that produces 191 horsepower. This engine links to an auto eight-speed transmission. The higher trim levels for both model years have a turbo 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. This is a 281-horsepower system that comes with an eight-speed auto, dual-clutch transmission. Many of the higher trim levels have all-wheel drive for both years.

Appearance

The 2024 Sorento also has a new look with a stronger definition from end to end. It has a tall, somewhat boxy shape with long accents streaming across the sides. At the front, the restyled grille maintains the classic Kia shape, but it is now longer with squared-off edges. The headlights also have an exciting look with an LED bar shaped like the numeral seven. Exterior gear is unchanged for 2024 except for the features introduced in the new X-Pro trim level. These features may include rain-sensing wipers, a sunroof, up to 20-inch wheels, raised roof rails, a hands-free liftgate, and more.

Features

The latest version of the Kia Sorento introduces a new look for the driver's digital instruments and the infotainment system screen. In addition, some of the carryover features from 2023 have been modernized. For both model years, the Sorento is offered with a Bose 12-speaker sound system, a 360-degree camera, a heated steering wheel, a blind-spot camera, heated seats, adaptive cruise control, second-row captain's chairs, a wireless charging pad, a push-button ignition with remote start, an integrated navigation system, parking sensors, and wireless smart device app connections.
