2024 Kia Sorento vs 2024 Kia Telluride
Serving Highland, IN
The 2024 Sorento and the 2024 Telluride have enduring appeal, making them top options for our customers at Thomas Kia of Highland. However, the two-row Sorento and the three-row Telluride are individualized with exciting traits that appeal to different drivers. Our primary goal at Thomas Kia of Highland is to help you enjoy your ideal Kia experience in a suitable model. What should you know about the 2024 Kia Sorento and the 2024 Telluride?
Performance
If you choose one of the Sorento's lower trim levels, your crossover SUV will come with a 191-horsepower, 2.5-liter, four-cylinder powerhouse. The higher trim levels get a boost from a 281-horsepower, turbo 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. All trims have front-wheel drive except the SX Prestige. The SX Prestige has standard all-wheel drive. In comparison, the 2024 Telluride has one powertrain for all trim levels. This is a 192-horsepower, 3.8-liter, V6 engine. All trims have front-wheel drive except for the SX Prestige, which comes with standard all-wheel drive.
Appearance
The smaller Kia Sorento has a laid-back look, a short, subtly curved hood, and a tall roof that fades into a liftgate spoiler. Over the sides, you will find an air vent near the front wheels, moderately rounded fenders, and standout side contouring. The wide, bowtie-style grille sits above a thick, rectangular fascia. The vertically mounted LED headlights are accented by a bent LED bar with orange lighting. The tall, capable Kia Telluride has a capable, confident look. Its tall doors are smooth except for lower body molding and an upper crease. Both the grille and lower fascia are larger than the Sorento's features. The rectangular headlights stand vertically, showing off two small, orange LED bars.
Features
You can enjoy many of the same features in these crossover SUVs. Both are available with heated seats in the first two rows, a Bose audio system, a household power outlet, leather seats, a heated steering wheel, a wireless device charging pad, an integrated navigation system, a forward collision warning with auto braking, intersection collision mitigation, lane keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control and more. The Telluride is also available with second-row captain's chairs, sound-absorbing glass, dual sunroofs, a blind-spot view monitor, and a few additional features.
