Performance
The 2024 Kia Sorento has two engine systems. The first two of the five trim levels have a 191-horsepower, 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine paired with front-wheel drive and an eight-speed auto transmission. The remaining trims have a turbo variant of this engine that generates 281 horsepower. This engine comes with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. All-wheel drive is standard with the X-Line and X-Pro trims. The 2024 Sorento Hybrid, on the other hand, has one powertrain for its two trim levels. This is a 227-horsepower, four-cylinder, turbo 1.6-liter hybrid engine. The base trim has front-wheel drive, or you can upgrade to all-wheel drive. The SX Prestige has standard all-wheel drive.
Appearance
The Sorento and the Sorento Hybrid have comparable side designs and individualized front styling. From the side view, you will find a tall, flat roof with a liftgate spoiler and raked side windows. Smooth definition rolls over the fenders. A large air intake is mounted close to the front fender, and the doors boast horizontal definition. Both come with a short, wide lower fascia on the nose and well-defined air inlets. They also both have a bow-tie grille design. On the Sorento, the tall headlights feature stacked bulbs, and an amber, two-sided LED bar, accompanies them. The Sorento Hybrid's headlights run horizontally at an angle, and they are underscored by a white LED ribbon that bends as it approaches the grille.

The 2024 Sorento and Sorento Hybrid share several similar features.
