What's New for the 2025 Kia Sportage?
The 2025 Kia Sportage is a compact crossover SUV that grabs attention on the road with its captivating, modern design. This model is well-appointed across all seven of its trim levels. These are the LX, EX, X-Line, SX, SX Prestige, X-Pro and X-Pro Prestige. Compared to the 2024 Sportage, the 2025 model year is unchanged and equally appealing.
The 2025 Sportage is outfitted with the same powertrain for all trim levels. This 187-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine is linked to an auto eight-speed transmission. The X-Line, X-Pro, and X-Pro Prestige versions have standard all-wheel drive. The remaining trim levels have front-wheel drive with the option to upgrade to all-wheel drive. The X trim levels also have a center locking differential and multiple drive modes.
The Sportage retains its enviable body style, defined by a sleek profile with a combination of angled and linear accents running smoothly across the sides. The nose stands out with its innovative take on the Kia bowtie grille. The sides of the grille are outlined by tall, pointed LED bars, and these bars frame the headlights. The bumper is broad and slightly rounded on the sides. Select trims have up to 19-inch wheels, a heated windshield, solar-controlled windows, all-terrain tires, LED fog lights, roof rails, a hands-free liftgate, a panoramic sunroof, and black trim.
The 2025 Kia Sportage's two-row cabin is spacious and has a thoughtful selection of features. The entry-level trim has Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, reclining rear seats, a digital instrument panel, an 8-inch touch display screen, rear parking sensors, lane keeping, a lane departure mitigation system, forward collision mitigation, a driver attention warning, and others. Higher trims add remote engine start, heated front seats, a 12.3-inch touch display screen, a dual-level cargo floor, a navigation system, a wireless charger, Kia Connect, memory controls for the driver's seat, a Harman Kardon sound system, adaptive cruise control, and numerous other features.
