The Kia Sorento Plug-in Hybrid, also known as the Sorento PHEV, stands out as an incredible three-row SUV with a hybridized powertrain. For the 2025 model year, the Kia Sorento PHEV introduces a few updates to its interior and exterior design as well as its features.
Across the front and rear of the 2025 Kia Sorento PHEV, you will find updated bumpers with linear design elements and outward definition. The rear bumper is also accompanied by dark molding. The vertical LED taillights and liftgate spoiler add to its good looks. The reshaped grille has a hint of the brand's classic bow-tie look, and it stands out with angled sides. The bent LED bar stands tall before turning inward to connect with the grille. The wheels have a modified pinwheel design. The Kia Sorento PHEV is a tall model with raked side windows, a side air inlet and cascading definition through the door panels. A few new exterior paint colors are added to the offerings in the 2025 model year.
The 2025 Sorento PHEV's interior also introduces impressive changes. You can now choose from Dust Blue as the interior color option. In addition, there are now a pair of 12.3-inch digital screens in the dashboard. The many other features available are blind-spot intervention, a surround-view camera, a navigation system, a Bose audio system with 12 speakers, a wireless smartphone charger, adaptive cruise control, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, second-row captain's chairs, second-row sunshades, heated front seats, leather upholstery and several additional features.
One trim level is available, and this is the SX-P. It is loaded with a four-cylinder, turbo 1.6-liter engine as well as a powerful battery pack and an electric motor. The equipment combines to deliver 261 horsepower. Standard equipment includes a locking center differential, torque-vectoring all-wheel drive, and a six-speed automatic transmission.
