 What's New for the 2025 Kia Carnival?

The Kia Carnival is a smart option for drivers who need a minivan's functionality and want an SUV's design. In 2025, Kia will introduce bold updates to the exterior design. In addition, new safety features and improvements to the interior will debut.

On the exterior, the 2025 Kia Carnival shows off refreshed headlights and taillights as well as a new look for the grille, body panels, and wheels. The style includes a short, curved nose with a wide, Kia-branded grille and a sleek bumper. The headlights stand vertically and are accompanied by a 7-shaped LED ribbon. The wheels are decidedly geometric with cropped triangular and rectangular spokes. The Carnival displays its length from the side view with a flatly angled roof and a deep groove across the power-sliding doors.

The center console is modernized at the front of the cabin, and the sleek climate control system interface migrates to the dashboard. The Carnival's infotainment system also features a new interface, and the voice assistant tech is revamped. From a safety perspective, the Carnival comes with lane centering for the first time.

The standard engine for most trim levels is a V6, 3.5-liter gas engine. This powertrain produces 287 horsepower and features an eight-speed auto transmission. This model is exclusively offered with front-wheel drive. In addition, a Carnival Hybrid is offered. It pairs a turbo gas engine with a battery-powered component, and the result is 242 output.

While many aspects of the 2025 Kia Carnival are updated, several features carry up from the preceding model year. Some of these are a 12-inch or dual 12.3-inch touch display screens, a head-up display, a navigation system, a digital rear-view mirror, Highway Driving Assist 2, a digital instrument screen, reclining seats with pop-up foot rest in the second row, seven USB ports, a rear entertainment system with two 14.6-inch screens, a Bose sound system with 12 speakers, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, auto emergency braking, a lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and more.
