The Kia Sorento has long been recognized for its versatility and overall quality, and it builds on its excellence in 2024 with a fresh look, the new X-Pro trim level, and next-level technologies. The updated style has a robust, confident look with broad dimensions and squared-off shape. The traditional bow-style grille that the brand is recognized for is reshaped, and the lower fascia also has a rectangular look for enhanced individuality. The vertically mounted headlights are stunning with a captivating, T-shaped accent bar. Two new body colors are available in 2024: Dawning Red and Midnight Lake Blue.

In the spacious cabin, the 2024 Kia Sorento sports a modernized dashboard design with an available curved and panoramic display screen. This unit includes a pair of side-by-side, 12.3-inch display screens. Through these screens, you can access the Connected Car Navigation cockpit system. This updated system has higher fidelity and operates faster. It also offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, over-the-air updates, and USB-C ports. The Digital Key 2.0 is an ultra-wide-band device that grants access to the vehicle via a smartphone.

The all-new Sorento X-Pro is engineered as an off-road-ready package exclusively available with the top-of-the-line SX-P trim level. It adds all-terrain tires, 17-inch, and an enhanced towing capacity of 4,000 pounds. It also has all the features added to the X-Line package. These include an upgraded skid plate, leather-trimmed seat backs, a center-locking rear differential, and a roof rack. Interior color options are Sage or Olive Green; the exterior is available in Jungle Green or Roadrider Brown.

The 2024 Kia Sorento is also enhanced with advanced safety features. These include lane-keeping assistance, lane-following assistance, pedestrian detection, forward collision crash avoidance, smart cruise control machine learning, highway driving assistance, a surround-view monitor, and a digital camera mirror.

The 2024 Kia Sorento's performance capabilities hold steady. The lower trim levels continue to have an I-4 GDI, 2.5-liter engine with an eight-speed auto transmission. This system produces 191 horsepower. The other trim levels have a turbocharged variant of that engine with an eight-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. This unit delivers 281 horsepower.
