Nice experience. Bought a CPO KIA Sorento from Thomas KIA. Janelle was my rep and Tom is the sales manager. Of course, the process of buying a car took a long time. But Janelle and Tom were attentive to our needs and ensured “the right thing.” We felt welcome in their space and enjoyed the people we met (customers and the Thomas KIA team). We spent a very long time there yesterday. And it was a long time buying a car (which I generally dont like to do). And I suppose this would normally be very frustrating but Janelle and Tom are good people doing the right thing. So we kind of felt at home! I had an appointment 3 times for the same thing on a brand new car. Dashboard keep popping up Kia connect and Valet alert and showing the collision symbol with the yellow triangle. I go the first time and it was so busy and they told me it will take 3-4 hours for diagnostic (not including what has to be fixed) and no cars were available AND I would have to see if they will approve a car or not. 2nd time they overbooked me and couldn't get seen. Third time same as the first time no cars available and I need to be approved for a car after the diagnostic test 3-4 hours. Shaking my head, I'm not sure what is happening at Kia service department, but its ridiculous. You have a new car with 15 miles off the lot and you come back with technical issues on a new car and can't get a loaner?????? PLEASE make it make sense. The guy was very polite but did not help at all pertaining to the issue at hand. I never had this issue with my honda and my honda is 20 years old. If it has to get fixed and it's 3 hours or more you can get a loaner. I probably should have stuck with the Honda Pilot.

Horrible customer service at this dealership. If you buy new, they will not help you inside the dealership. They will write a 1800 number on a note for you to call customer service. This isn’t your normal customer friendly dealer where they make sure the customer vehicle is fixed. It’s not about the vehicle having an issue even with it being new, it’s about the horrible service department. Please give your business to another dealer who will offer you a loaner car or atleast reimburse for forced travel expenses. They had my vehicle for three days and want offered anything as my vehicle was completely covered by warranty.

This review is strictly based on the SERVICE department. No one back there has any idea what they are doing. We unfortunately have been there a couple times. For the most recent visit, we had an appointment at 7 AM. We dropped the vehicle off the night before. We were told the vehicle would be done by 2:30 PM as it only took a couple hours to do the work. We never heard back so at 2:30 we contacted the service department and we’re told we can head that way to pick up the vehicle. When we arrived, the vehicle wasn’t even started. They had our vehicle all day and didn’t even touch it. The service advisor tried to tell me it’s because they had 50 other appointments shoved down his throat, that doesn’t concern me as my appointment was at 7 AM when they opened. I will definitely be finding another place to bring my vehicle from now on. I was also told they do not offer loaner cars unless they will have your car for more than a day which is fine except it seems everything they do. It takes more than a day. Save yourself a headache and find a different Kia dealership to go to for service.

Rarely do I write reviews and would have let the matter go BUT since the dealership sent me a survey I felt it my duty to share my honest review. I would give the service center at this dealership no stars. I brought my vehicle in for service 12/25. I shared my concerns on what I thought was the issue as well as other repairs I would like to have a quote on. After receiving the results of the diagnostic test as well as a quote I elected to have the most pressing issue addressed. Because the vehicle is a back up car it sat for weeks until a recent road trip. Upon return of the trip I noted the same issue was still a concern and appeared to not be addressed properly. I returned the vehicle less about a month later and was told "if the present issue is something we missed the last visit we can take care of it BUT you will have to pay for it". While I understand that I must pay for all parts, services, etc. I felt insulted at this comment. When I pressed the CSR about why the issue not fully addressed the first visit he provided a long winded non answer. He spoke as if my concerns/questions were not valid while at the same time acknowledging the validity of those same concerns/questions. My primary goal is/was to get the vehicle repaired and returned to me in a timely manner. To add insult to injury as soon as the vehicle was picked up I noted a new unusual sound as well as another issue. I have since made an appointment with another service center to have the vehicle inspected and repaired. I will never recommend this service center.

My fiancée and I are extremely frustrated with our experience with Thomas Kia’s service department. For months, she has repeatedly tried to schedule a service appointment and have a mirror upgrade installed, with little to no response. Calls are not returned, and when she does get through, she is often placed on hold for long periods after being told someone will be right back only to be left waiting while staff attends lengthy meetings. When my fiancée raised concerns about the department’s unprofessional conduct and asked how these issues would be addressed, she was given vague, noncommittal responses with no indication of accountability or escalation to management or ownership. As a result, we have no confidence that this situation with their service division will improve. If anything, it leaves us expecting the same lack of responsiveness and follow-through the next time we try to schedule service.
